Executive Management is a Senior management, top management, middle management, or an executive management team typically is a group of people at the top level of management of a company who have the most important day-to-day responsibilities of running that company-or sometimes a corporation. They also plan major company events such as conferences, meetings, and seminars. They often have access to many other people in the company with authority and they are usually the ones running the most important aspects of a company. There are three major skills required for a successful executive management team; strategic planning, problem-solving thinking, and interpersonal skills.

An executive team is typically a small group of highly experienced individuals in the highest tier of management of a company who have the most day-to-day duties of running that organization- sometimes a corporation or an organization. They are usually called the president, a CEO, CFO, or a senior vice president. These individuals are well trained in corporate management, but they do not hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration. They usually began their careers as assistants to senior management.

To help fill these roles there are many executive education programs. The type of executive education program you choose should be determined by your personal interests and the job you are looking for. Many colleges offer executive courses to students who wish to develop themselves into a future CEO or an area of expertise within an organization. These classes may be flexible and require little research, but they usually last for a year. You will learn managerial skills, decision making processes, and leadership skills while you study. Some executive courses include a final project and dissertation as part of your curriculum.

The University of Michigan offers executive education programs for students who wish to advance from assistant management to a senior management position. This program includes core courses in business administration, financial services, marketing, and economics. The core courses teach you how to make sound business decisions, negotiate for the best deals, and work with others. The executive course also covers the history of executive positions and their development throughout the years. This class can be taken in the evenings if you are attending a University of Michigan campus.

At Western Michigan University there are many core executive courses that you can take in order to obtain your Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. The core courses teach management skills such as problem solving, financial management, and decision making. You will learn these core principles and apply them to the different areas of your business life. The core executive programs also cover leadership and teamwork. This is important because the teams that you lead must be created and maintained in order to be successful.

At Duke University there are many executive education programs to choose from. The undergraduate school provides core executive programs, as well as graduate and doctoral programs in executive management. Some of the courses you can expect to take in the undergraduate program include strategic planning, human resources, and decision making, risk management and control, marketing and advertising, and organizational behavior. There are many more courses in each of these categories, and many require additional professional certification in order to enroll. The graduate school offers a number of executive education programs, as well as executive MBA programs.
