What is electricity? That is a question many people often ask. Many of us have seen electricity on TV, in the movies and on the internet. Many people confuse it with solar energy or hydroelectricity. It is also frequently confused with magnetism. The answer is that electricity is a chemical process and is the result of an electric current passing through a conductive substance.

The sun’s energy is the best known example of what is electricity. So how does electricity get into your home from the main electric power source to your household appliances or work? There are four main steps in the electrical process. Generation | electricity | created | electrons | electric} First, electricity is created by the oxidation of oxygen in water or other conductive media. The electrons are captured by an oxidation reaction between oxygen and hydrogen. The number of free electrons is determined by the nature of the electrode, which can be made of steel, copper, lead or zinc.

The second way that electricity is created is by the movement of molecules. Molecules are made of two hydrogen atoms and one electron. Electrons have both an up and down side. In order for molecules to move we must consider how the electrons are paired, or bonded, to the atom’s nuclei.

The third way that electricity is created is through the motion of electrically charged particles. When two or more particles are moving in a circuit, they become linked. This creates pairs of atoms, which are negatively charged. If these pairs were not attached, there would be a higher percentage of them being positively charged. This is what is electricity; it is a form of radiation created by moving particles.

The fourth way that electricity is produced is through the collective movement of atoms. atoms are made up of a nucleus, electrons and a proton all bonded together. The electrons can move from one atom to another thanks to a bonding force called the Strong Force. This is what is electricity; atoms bond to form molecules.

The last way in which electricity is produced is through the total resistance of atoms to their union. There will always be some amount of resistance, the total resistance of the atoms is what determines the average speed at which electrons travel. The faster the average speed of electrons the less resistance they will have as they go through an electric circuit.

Well, it makes use of the principle of entrainment. It is possible to create this kind of external force field by applying pressure or by positioning magnets on the surface of an object. In order to do this you must use strong magnetic fields strong enough to induce the outside force field induced by the applied pressure or placed on the object. Then you have produced what is electricity!

How do you know that an electron is actually present in an atom? Just by observing them traveling around the atom. When atoms with only one electron move it creates a lot of energy and that is what we call light. The more electrons an atom has, the more it becomes excited and this excites more electrons which causes more energy. This is how we get electricity!

So, we know that there is a natural energy source called electricity. What is electricity used for though, is mainly for our home needs such as lighting and appliances such as your computer. We also need it for mechanical energy such as to turn the blades of a fan or to turn a generator and so on.
