What Is Blue Sky Thinking

What is your mental state of mind? What is your mental picture of yourself and the world around you? What do you envision as being “worthy” of happiness, love, respect, success, and all the other good things that life has to offer? What is the blue light at the end of the tunnel that everyone seems to travel?

We all have such a thing, and most of us don’t even know it. But when we are in bad physical pain or depressed, or angry at an unseen foe, we experience what is known as the “useful” or “luxurious” side of our mental landscape. In other words, the side of us that allows us to live comfortably. When we have peace and harmony, our blue skies become the color of the clouds. We are blessed to have such wonderful things.

So what is blue for those who are blessed with such wonderful memories? According to the colors of the rainbow, the color of blue is our sign of peace. Peace in the eyes of a warrior, peace in the heart of a mother, peace in the garden of a gardener, peace in the bedroom of a married couple. Blue brings up new associations with things we typically think of as happy and positive. For example, if you see blue as the color of the ocean and water, you will connect yourself to the warmth and joy of summer, or the sweetness of the rainfall that falls on your skin, or the splendor of a rainy day.

What is blue for those who are afraid of the dark or who wish they could shed their need to be afraid? This is the opposite of our mental state of peace. Our blue sky becomes the color of night, the shadow that we cast upon the world around us. What is blue for someone who yearns to live in the present moment, but cannot let go of his past? This is the time when we most need our courage to face a fear or an adversity, because in the heart of a true friend, we know that we can survive these things.

What is blue for those who seek a connection to the spiritual world? Those who have an inner spiritual search often connect with a higher power. It is said that God’s ways are not our own and it is this idea that are at the basis of what is blue for some people. To live in harmony with the divine is to live in a state of peace and joy, which can be found in blue skies.

What is blue for those of us who believe that life is to be enjoyed to the fullest and who are aware of the fact that we live in a world where we are constantly faced with challenges and opportunities? What is blue for those who have faith that the power of love will prevail and that we all have something to contribute to the world if only our best is good enough? What is blue for those who are ready to make a difference in the world and to share its joy and beauty with those who are in need? What is blue for those who want to experience peace and joy in their lives?

What is blue for those of us who need peace and joy in our lives but who have yet to discover the means to achieve it? What is blue for those who want to live in harmony with all people and all things? What is blue for those who believe that we should be kinder to our neighbors, that we should show more sympathy to those who are less fortunate than ourselves? What is blue for those who believe that everyone deserves a second chance?

What is blue for those who are ready to let go of the old way of doing things and are ready for a new and better way of doing things? What is blue for those who can’t stand the thought of another day on earth? What is blue for those who need another dose of wisdom and redemption? What is blue for those who have faith in the future of mankind? What is blue for those who hope that we can still create something meaningful in this crazy world? What is blue for those who believe that true wisdom comes from the deep depths of our souls, not from a book?
