What Is Bactroban?

What is Bactroban? Bactrim, also known as FOS or fecal shortening, is an oral probiotic. It is sometimes known as FOSTA (pronounced “foes tee”) which is where the name got the name. It is generally available in the form of capsules containing 500mg of live active cultures. The capsule is to be taken daily with food or as directed on the bottle.

It works by creating a beneficial reaction within the intestines to produce short chain fatty acids that help kill parasites and intestinal bacteria that can cause illnesses like diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome. The short chains are then eliminated through the system. It is also effective at controlling gas and bloating, and helps increase nutrient absorption in the gut. Studies have shown that it helps to lower cholesterol and prevents inflammation. Bactrim can be used for a wide range of conditions including stomach ulcers, gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease, etc.

It was originally developed as a treatment for diarrhea. It is usually taken with meals. Because of its high water solubility it is easily absorbed into the bloodstream. This makes it highly useful in treating conditions that affect how the intestines work.
